Metode Qawaid Wa Tarjamah dalam Belajar Baca Kitab di Pondok Pesantren Nahdhatul Qur’an pada Desa Manarap

Abstract

The Qawaid wa Tarjamah method is a good method for learning to read the yellow book. Based on this statement, this research can be focused on, namely the application of the Qawaid wa Tarjamah method in learning to read the Yellow Book at the Nahdhatul Quran Islamic Boarding School. The aim of this research is to determine the application of the Qawaid wa Tarjamah method in learning to read the Yellow Book at the Nahdhatul Quran Islamic Boarding School. The subjects in this research were Ustadz and Islamic students. The object of this research is the Qawaid wa Tarjamah method in learning to read the Yellow Book. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses qualitative and provides conclusions using general methods based on data in the field. The results of the research show that the application of the Qawaid wa Tarjamah method in learning to read the Yellow Book at the Nahdhatul Quran Islamic Boarding School includes: 1) Planning carried out by the book teachers, namely in the initial planning, students are asked to focus on memorizing the sharaf for 3 months. Then proceed with learning nahwu and practicing it by reading and translating it yourself. 2) Implementation of the Qawaid wa Tarjamah method emphasizes memorizing and understanding Qawaid and translation in the study of direct reading of the book, namely at the beginning of memorizing and understanding Arabic grammar or Qawaid, namely the science of nahwu and sharaf. 3) The evaluation carried out by the Ustadz in learning to read the Yellow Book was by asking the students to read the Yellow Book directly in front of him in scientific learning studies such as fiqh, tafsir and other sciences.
